Summer Wedding in Dunmore East

January 9, 2020

Sophie and Graham wed on a windy but bright and fresh day in July, in the beautiful village of Dunmore East. Sophie got ready in her family holiday home surrounded by family and a couple of friends dropping in for a glass of bubbly. There was a gorgeous, relaxed vibe with lots of laughter and craic. Going for a beautiful, classic look with dress from Aibheil in Adare and minimal make by Jen Quinn, Sophie stunned everyone with her elegance and graceful style. The ceremony was in the church at the top of the hill and guests enjoyed plenty of dress-blowing gusts as they entered the church, which was adorned in the most beautiful flower arrangements, created by the talented Ellen of It’s all Pretty Wild. Ellen also did the stunning bridal bouquets and table arrangements. Guests enjoyed lovely music by The Bentley Boys through out the ceremony. Post ceremony ales were enjoyed in Aggie’s pub closeby, where Louise one of the bridesmaids even got behind the bar to pull pints. This relaxed atmosphere set the tone for the day and it was beautiful to watch Sophie and Graham be so chilled and at ease with each other, very much in love.

Celebrations continued on the terrace of the Strand Inn where the sun decided to grace us with her presence. Guests were treated to breathtaking views over the bay while enjoying canapés, champagne and aperol spritzes! Dinner and dancing went on late into the night, no doubt a memorable day for all guests and of course the gorgeous newlyweds.
